I’ve spoken at venues from a few people to a few hundred. I’m capable of keeping my talk short and sweet for a ten-minute mini-lesson or expanding it to an hour-long keynote for a conference or retreat. I speak regularly in the Seattle area about financial stewardship, writing, motherhood (including the sobering reality of postpartum depression), and the Christian spiritual life.
Because my children are young and being home with them is one of my top priorities, I speak primarily at churches, MOPS groups, and other venues in the Seattle area. I accept only four speaking engagements outside the Seattle area each year.
Currently, I am booked both locally and elsewhere through July 2014.
If you’re interested in having me come speak to your group, just shoot me an email.
You can listen to a sermon I preached at Bethany Presbyterian Church way back on July 27, 2008. I’ve become an even better speaker since then
You can also watch this video of me reading from my new book, Cracking Up: A Postpartum Faith Crisis. Warning: I tried to be dramatic, but I just ended up being cheesy, especially at the end. Prepare to cringe.
