Thanks for these suggestions! I wanted to let you know that I picked up The Snowman, which you suggested last month. My twins LOVE it. We’ve looked at it over and over again. Thanks so much for putting that one on my radar screen :)

I won’t claim to do it every day, but I do it several times a week. I can’t claim to do much else several times a week.

I received a $15 gift certificate for Amazon recently, and Christine’s book seems like the perfect use for that. Peterson’s book sounds great, too. I need all the help/encouragement in prayer that I can get!

This sounds like a great practice, and I look forward to joining you and blogging myself too. It sounds like you’ve got a lot good things going on here, but there are a couple other prayer books that I’d like to draw your attention to for your consideration. Have you read 50 Ways to Pray? (http://www.amazon.com/50-Ways-Pray-Practices-Traditions/dp/0687331048) This is one of my favorites that I keep coming back to when I’m stuck. Another one I like is Prayers for People who can’t sit still (which is really good for kids!) (http://www.amazon.com/Prayer-People-Who-Cant-Still/dp/0827230036/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1357911288&sr=1-1&keywords=prayers+for+people+who+can't+sit+still).

Looking forward to this!
Rachel
