Kimberlee! How fun is this? I saw the link to your post on L.L.’s blog and thought, “I know that name,” and then I clicked over and thought, “I know that face,” and then just to be sure, I went back and found and re-read your lovely post about Parting the Waters. It was a delight to meet you the first time and such a pleasure to reconnect over an excellent interview with an author I love and respect.

Kimberlee, this is a wonderful interaction. I hope you both do get to meet in person someday. L.L. never ceases to amaze me. She’s who I want to be when I grow up (except I could never pull off the silk skirt).

I echo your words about the value of this book. Five-star recommendation. It’s one I’ve returned to again and again.

As for the actress who will play L.L., it has to be someone with an enormous, infectious laugh.
